Biographie
Formée en cinéma d'Animation à l’Institut St Geneviève (Paris), Célia Tocco complète sa formation par la FCIL proposée par l'ESAAT (Roubaix). Cette année réalisée en alternance aux Films du Nord lui permet de travailler notamment avec Nicolas Liguori sur le film Le Vent dans les roseaux. Forte de cette première expérience, elle a l'opportunité de coréaliser avec Célia Tisserant un premier court métrage, La Tortue d’Or, d’après un scénario d'Arnaud Demuynck. Célia Tocco se concentre sur la création de l'univers graphique du film, des personnages jusqu’aux décors tout en participant également à la mise en scène et à l'animation.
Biography
Célia Tocco studied animation at the Institut St Geneviève (Paris), before completing a one-year FCIL course at the ESAAT (Roubaix). A year alternating between studying and working with the Films du Nord gave her the opportunity to work with Nicolas Liguori on the film The Wind in the Reeds. The experience gained has enabled her to make her first short film in 2018, The Golden Tortoise, co-directed with Célia Tisserant and based on a scenario written by Arnaud Demuynck. Célia Tocco worked particularly on the graphic universe, character and set design, while also contributing to the direction and animation of the film.
